If you recall, the Nokia C12 was launched quite recently. It was an entry-level phone, and it made many realize what Nokia could offer in budget territory. Now, if you think the Nokia C12 is awesome, you will be amazed by the Nokia C02.
Ahead of MWC Barcelona, HMD quietly announced the new entry-level device, the Nokia C02. And it’s probably the best phone you can get if you’re on a budget constraint.

Although the phone is in the super affordable range, it doesn’t skimp on the essentials at all. The entry-level Nokia C02 comes with a removable battery and headphone jack. Yes, you read that right. A removable battery phone in 2023.
But that’s not all the phone has to offer. The Nokia C02 even has an IP52 rating, something we don’t see in the entry-level market these days. Even the screen of the device is pretty awesome. It has a 5.45-inch LCD screen with FWVGA+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

The Nokia C02 has a 2MP selfie shooter on the front and a 5MP rear shooter on the back. Yes, the camera setup is pretty basic. But you can’t really ask for more in this price range. The removable battery has a capacity of 3000mAh and recharges via a date microUSB port at 5W.
Under the hood, you have an unnamed quad-core SoC. The clock speed of this SoC is at 1.4 GHz. And even though it only comes with 2 GB of RAM, you have to take into account that the Nokia C02 is equipped with Android 12 GO Edition. So, the phone should be able to handle day-to-day apps quite well.
The price of C02 is still unknown. However, we expect it to be around the same price as the C12. And the phone will be available in Charcoal and Dark Cyan colors.
