We’ve been waiting for the OnePlus Nord 3 since last year. However, instead of a new device, OnePlus decided to launch a revamped OnePlus Nord 2. Now it looks like the device is finally coming, as it has been the target of leaks for the past few weeks. Some of its specs have already been leaked on the OnePlus Nord 3, and now there is a new report with specs. The new report contradicts the previous one and comes from a more reliable source. It’s hard to say which is more accurate, but the new one seems to be on the “more optimistic” side of things.
OnePlus Nord 3 alleged specs
The latest leak says that the OnePlus Nord 3 will bring a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The biggest change here is the presence of a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. exciting, after all, the Dimensity 9000 was MediaTek’s SoC last year for flagships. This would put the OnePlus Nord 3 a few steps away from the OnePlus 11R. Considering the Nord 3 targets the mid-range segment, we have a big boost in performance.
Gizchina News of the week
The report also indicates two variants with 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and the storage will be 128GB or 256GB. The phone will draw its power from a huge 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. that the camera setup isn’t the most advanced. The phone will bring a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro shooter. There will also be an 8 MP selfie shooter. Interestingly, the OnePlus Nord 3 will also bring the alert slider. Apparently, after complaints about its decision to drop the legacy feature, OnePlus decided to bring it to almost all new phones.
As a reminder, the old leak pointed to the Dimensity 8100 or Dimensity 8200 processor under the hood. Moreover, it indicated a battery capacity between “4,500 or 5,000 mAh”. As you can see, that was pretty speculative. Now the new report seems more believable. Or at least, less speculative.
The brand is also gearing up to launch the OnePlus Nord CE 3. We expect these phones to launch soon.
