Nokia C22 and C32 announced

HMD Global has just announced its intention to expand its presence in Europe. The company will soon set up local manufacturing there. This will definitely bring benefits to the company and enable it to push Nokia smartphones forward. Nokia started to focus on the premium mid-range segment, we also saw a failed attempt at a flagship with the Nokia 9 PureView. Since 2020, Nokia has been focusing on the low-end segment, and apparently that’s paying the bills. Today, Nokia is unveiling the Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 for the low-end segment.

Specifications of Nokia C22 and C32

The Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 bring the usual – a full set of specs and a big emphasis on battery. The Nokia C32 is the first C-series phone to feature a 50MP primary camera. It also comes in a premium standard with glass front and back. The Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 are rated IP52. This will give them protection against dust and splashing water. Both phones have the same 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with 2.5D curved glass. Another common trait is the 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging.

According to HMD Global, the Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 offer three days of battery life. However, we do not know in which scenarios this is possible. We don’t expect it to last that long if you use the phone for gaming, watching a lot of videos, etc. It’s probably standby time. Anyway, Nokia says there is an AI-powered battery saving management that improves battery life.
