Meizu 20 Pro goes through AnTuTu with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Meizu is expected to return to the flagship market soon. Now under the orders of Geely, the brand has renewed its means and can try to conquer a good place on the smartphone scene. In 2023, the brand plans to launch the Meizu 20 series. The devices will come to compete with the high-end phone market, and of course that means they will need proper power with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. There a few weeks ago the company confirmed the use of the new chip. Moreover, it confirmed LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 standards, which are the latest for 2023 flagships. Now, one particular phone, believed to be Meizu 20 Pro, has passed the AnTuTu benchmark.

Meizu 20 Pro Specifications

The phone with model number M2391 can be launched as Meizu 20 Pro. The device carried the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. This may just be a variation of many sets to come with launch. At this time, it is not possible to determine whether this is the top model in the range. We’ve seen several leaks over the past few months, different designs, and it’s hard to say how many phones are coming. A previous Geekbench test revealed the m2392 model. This one also had 12 GB of RAM as well as Android 13.

This alleged Meizu 20 Pro has a Full HD+ resolution with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen size is unclear, but it will be an OLED panel with a fingerprint scanner ultrasonic fingers. The phone will also bring 13 gaming-grade antennas. Meizu did not confirm battery life but said it would retain 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 daily charge cycles. The phone’s score was 1,255,418. It’s worth noting that the processor and UX are below usual for the SD8 Gen 2. But the phone’s launch is slated for spring, so it’s probably running a unpolished software.
